The Geraldton-Greenough Regional Library holds a comprehensive collection of over 200 oral history interviews of Geraldton and Greenough residents Both tapes and transcripts are available for loan. They can be searched through the Library Catalogue. Oral History Mornings Oral History Mornings are held on the third Wednesday of the month, February to November, from 10.00am to 11.30am in the Heritage Services area of the Library. Morning tea is provided. Mid West Oral History Group (MWOHG) The Mid West Oral History Group was formed in 2002 by a group of volunteers eager to explore the history of the region through oral history interviewing. While many interviews have already been done it is intended that the group will continue this work. Anyone is welcome to join MWOHG - even if you do not wish to be an active member of the group Mid West Oral History Project In 2008-2009 the Mid West Oral History Project ensured the transition from analog to digital recording, and the purchase of new equipment.
