Junior Collection The Library holds a range of material suitable for young people for reference or for loan. The collection includes books, CDs, DVDs, CD-ROM's and magazines and serves to support the interests of young people. There are special areas for pre-school stories and beginner readers and non-fiction material for recreational reading and homework needs. Rhyme Time : A session for babies 0-2 years old to introduce the wonderful world of language through songs and rhymes is held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month.
Storytime : Join us for an hour of lively story reading, songs, rhymes and simple crafts every Tuesday 9.30-10.30am. Suitable for pre-school aged children. Beginner Readers : A selection of engaging books designed to introduce new and emerging readers to the joys of books. Special encouragement awards are presented to children as they reach reading milestones. Homework Help : Every Monday to Thursday during the school term, a Librarian is available to assist students research homework and general interest topics. Free access to online databases is also available. To view these click here. Book Explorers : A Junior book club session where a favourite story can be shared over afternoon tea. Held on the first Thursday of each month from 3.30-4.00pm. Vacation Programs : Special activities and reading programs are run during the school holidays.
